BioI'm a quixotic journalist interested in Spiritualism.
By 'interested in' I mean, "I know nothing about it and I'd like to learn more."
I convinced my superiors that this interest is a suitable focus for my JMC degree capstone project. So, like the fool I am, I decided to join America's largest Spiritualist community to learn more.
I'll be staying at the community (The Lily Dale Assembly) for a week to learn my fill. Through this immersion I'll be taking notes, conducting interviews, and soaking up all the culture I can. Afterward I'll be crafting a series of investigative features. These features will focus on all the social/communal nuances that come with being a spiritualist. All of which will be shared on this journal.
I don't have more description to offer...for now. Why not watch and see what develops?
There will be entertainment to be had whether I become possessed, enlightened, or embittered by what I experience.
